We are here for you! Professional Standards and CIRP Update
SkyWest Airlines Flight Attendants have two incredible SIA support programs - Both programs are peer to peer based, non-management, non-punitive, and 100% confidential.
Professional Standards (PS) can be utilized for conflict resolution. If you find yourself in a difficult situation, experience a breakdown in communication with your crew, or have a confrontation, PS can help you from bid avoiding, calling off the pairing, or working in an uncomfortable environment. Contact us to help resolve the issue in a non-biased, non-threatening, supportive environment, by a peer who understands your exact job responsibilities.
Critical Incident Response Program (CIRP) is for those stressful situations that may arise at work as a crewmember. You can reach out to us, or we may reach out to you if there is a critical incident, such as fire inside or outside your aircraft, smoke, decompression, medical emergencies, difficult or threatening passengers, etc.
A big "THANK YOU" to Tuere McIntyre as she steps down from the CIRP Chair position. We truly appreciate her incredible contribution to the CIRP, she will be missed! We appreciate Pamela Suggs who has stepped up to fill this position. With her great knowledge, and dedication this program will continue to grow strong and evolve. Also, Emily Farr the new Vice Chair who will be a GREAT addition to the leadership team!
If you find yourself in need of one, or both of these programs at any time, we welcome you to reach out to us by contacting us at www.oursia.org or using our toll free number 855.2.OURSIA.
