Productivity Override Will Remain Intact!

Productivity Override Will Remain Intact!

May 8, 2020 Posted by Wayne SIA News No Comments

As was previously communicated, SIA had agreed to some exceptions to policy in order to help weather and survive this unprecedented storm. One exception was to suspend the over 87 productivity override (SP 2308.3).

SIA has been in discussions with the Company for the need to rescind the exception in TMOA-6.1.  With our partners’ needs ever-evolving, we recognize that many Flight Attendants may end up working over 87 hours to complete the schedule.  And with that, we feel our Flight Attendants should still be compensated with the productivity override for those hours.

We are pleased to announce that the Company has agreed to rescind this portion of the MOA. Please refer to the current policy FAPM SP 2308.3 for specifics on when and how you qualify for the override.
