Post out of Your Domicile – New SkedPlus+ Feature

August 11, 2016 Posted by Uncategorized

Dear SIA Member,

Your SIA Board is very excited to present a new and long awaited quality of life enhancement to SkedPlus+. Beginning Tuesday, August 11, 2015, “POSTED SPLIT PAIRINGS VIEWABLE IN MORE THAN ONE DOMICILE” will be available to our Flight Attendants.

Today, a posted split pairing that begins or ends in a domicile other than the posting Flight Attendant’s assigned domicile is only viewable in that domicile, not in the domicile where the split occurs. This new feature will allow the posted split pairing to be viewable in both the domicile where the pairing originates and the domicile in which the split occurs. Current policy for dropped pairings and split pairings in a SIP (Schedule Interruption Point) location will apply. Please reference the SkedPlus+ User Guide at SkyWest Online > Info Center > Documents > Manuals (IF) > Flight Attendant Policy Manual > SkedPlus+ User Guide.

Just as they are today, all split transactions will be placed in the manual queue and processed on a first come, first served basis.

These pairings will be color coded in purple (Figure 1 below)

Post Split

If a PDX based Flight Attendant picks up this posted split pairing, the Flight Attendant will be required to acknowledge that he/she is responsible to provide their own transportation to SEA to begin the pairing (Figure 3 below).

If a SEA based Flight Attendant picks up this posted split pairing, the Flight Attendant will be required to acknowledge that he/she is responsible to provide their own transportation back to SEA at the completion of the pairing (Figure 3 below).

Post Split2

Your SIA Board hopes that each of you will enjoy this new feature that has been negotiated on your behalf. Should you have any questions about this, please ‘Talk to SIA’ at www.oursia.org > Talk to SIA > SkedPlus+.

Sincerely,

Your SIA Board
