Pay Package Passes!
SIA is pleased to announce that the 2018 Flight Attendant Pay Package was voted in by a majority of our Flight Attendants!
SkyWest Flight Attendants recently ratified a new 5-year contract with increases in compensation! SIA’s primary objectives were to increase the pay scale, increase the 401(k) match, extend the scale to 25 years and enhance the Flight Attendant Profit Sharing. We also succeeded in increasing the productivity override and securing a Flight Attendant holding pay policy.
Flight Attendants should see the adjustment on their paycheck dated February 22, 2018 for the items effective January 1, 2018 (scale increase, scale extended to 25 years and productivity override). If you end up with any questions about your pay, please direct those to the payroll department. The enhancement to the Profit Sharing/Financial Performance Rewards disbursement will be paid out quarterly effective the first quarter of 2018 which will follow the SkyWest quarterly earnings announcement.
Holding pay – TBA, expected for 4th quarter of 2018.
The 401K match increases will be effective January 1, 2019.
If SIA finds that the Flight Attendant total compensation package is not in line with other airline competitors we will ask to re-open negotiations early, just as we did for this pay package.
